Project narrative

On 1 September 2016, the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar and the Ruili Municipality of China's Yunnan province donated 100 million kyats to Myanmar for the renovation of quake-damaged pagodas in Bagan. Additionally, Chinese Ambassador Hong Liang said that China would send a team of experts to Myanmar to help renovate the damaged pagodas in Bagan.
