Project narrative

In May 2005, China announced it would donate two land cruisers to Tonga's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The vehicles were delivered in September. Chinese Ambassador Shanhai Gao and Secretary-General of Tonga Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated in the ceremony.
