Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On April 21, 2016, Wang Yulin, the Chinese Ambassador to Ecuador presented 2 million USD worth of aid to Ecuador raised by the Chinese government to Ecuadorian Foreign Affairs Minister Guillaume Long as a response to the April 16, 2016 earthquake. The aid also included 10 truck-fulls of food, water, tents, and bedding. A mobile medical center was included in this aid donation as well. This project is complete. This project should not be confused with the 60 million yuan donation that the Chinese government gave to Ecuador the following week, described in Record ID#59158 or the China Red Cross's 100,000 USD donation described in Record ID#51814.
