Project narrative

On the 13th of September, 2016, the Chinese Ambassador to Benin, Diao Mingsheng, on behalf of the Chinese government, donated a sum of first aid equipment to the Beninese people suffering from the tragedy of Tori-Avame landfill accident. The first aid items were signed by the Benin's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Aurélien Agbénonci and later on handed-over to the Benin Ministry of Health who will then distribute to the local Beninese.
