Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In June 2016, a Confucius Institute was inaugurated at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) to strengthen the bond between Ghana and China through education and cultural exchanges. The UCC Branch, initiated in 2008, is being hosted in partnership with the Hunan City University, and it is the second to be established in the country, after that of the University of Ghana, Legon. On June 2, 2017, Ambassador Sun Baohong held a reception to celebrate the foundation of the institute. The cost of the institute is unknown.
