Description

During the Sri Lankan Prime Minister's visit to China in April 2016, China granted Sri Lanka 500 million yuan in aid to boost bilateral relations.

Additional details

Other details of this grant were not found during stage 2. But during this 2016 meeting between Sri Lanka and China prime ministers, a contract was signed for the construction of Colombo Port City Project (Project #33431). Therefore it is possible that these two projects are related.
