Description

In December 2015, China and Kenya signed an agreement for the "Certificate of Acceptance" of a 1,142,400 USD grant to support Kenya's host of the ongoing ministerial meeting of the World Trade Organization (WTO). According to the Kenyan Government's AIMS database, the Chinese government provided two grants totaling 204,000,000 Kenyan shillings in January 2016 and June 2016 to help with the Kenyan budget support for the 10th WTO Ministerial Meeting. Each grant was worth 102,000,000 Kenyan shillings.
