Project narrative

On March 31, 2016, Chinese Vice-Premier Liu Yandong visited Faisal al-Husseine Basic School for Girls in Ramallah and announced China's plans to provide Palestinian students with more government scholarships to study in China. The signed agreement continues China's program to provide scholarships, increasing the number to 100 scholarships each year for Palestinians to study in China. Liu also invited 15 Palestinian young researchers to China to carry out joint research projects and invited 60 Palestinian primary school and middle school students to join a Chinese language and culture camp in China in 2016.
