Project narrative

In 2016, the Chinese Government provided a Rs 2.5 million grant to the Government of Mauritius for a Solar Street Light Project. This project involved the installation of 70 solar-powered street lights. A handover ceremony was held on November 3, 2016 at the Pointe Aux Sables Beach in Mauritius, where the first 5 lights were installed.
