Project narrative

On January 6, 2015, China launched the Anti-Ebola Training Program in Sierra Leone. Chinese Ambassador Zhao Yanbo, Ambassador of Sierra Leone attended the launching ceremony. Since the Ebola outbreak, China has provided all-round support. Up to the launch of this project, Chinese public health experts have trained more than 2,300 people in Sierra Leone. This intensive training project will further penetrate the grassroots level, and in the three administrative villages of Zhuyi, Corso, and Grafton, systematically help the grassroots to enhance their current anti-epidemic capabilities and their ability to respond to other infectious diseases in the future. The current status of the project is unknown.
