Project narrative

December 2015, the Chinese Embassy in Somalia donated $2 million USD to the Trust Fund for Peace and Reconciliation in Somalia managed by the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM) to support the UNOSOM mission in Somalia peace and reconciliation, rebuilding of national institutions, child protection, and women's empowerment projects.
