Project narrative

On November 19, 2015, China donated wildlife protection and conservation equipment worth $537,000 USD to the Kenyan Wildlife Service. The equipment includes 18 China manufactured pick-up trucks, tents, a camera, and telescope. Also, a month-long vehicle maintenance training session is provided by two employees from Zhongxing Auto to KWS employees. The vehicles will be used in eight different natural reserves. This donation comes as a part of Chinese and Kenyan cooperation to support wildlife and prevent illegal poaching and animal trades in Kenya. The equipment has been provided.
