On October 31, 2016, the Chinese Embassy in Madagascar donated 10 wheelchairs to Christoffel Blinden Mission (CBM), which is a German Christian international development organization that is dedicated to helping the disabled around the world. The chairman of the National Association of Disabled Persons, the Ministry of Population, and the Ministry of Health attended the ceremony. The monetary value of this donation is unknown.
