Project narrative

June 8, 2015, the Chinese Embassy in Mauritania donated computer equipment to the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights and Humanitarian Action of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. The deputy commissioner’s Human Rights and Humanitarian Action, approved by Rasul Ould Khale, is a gift police officer based in Nouakchott, which facilitates the use of the Chinese Embassy by the police. This assistance is part of Mauritania's cooperation with China and is hosted by Mr. Du Peng, the second secretary of the Chinese Embassy. The transaction amount is unknown.
