Project narrative

On 18 May 2016, the Chinese government sent a group of agricultural experts to Djibouti for the 2016 Sino-Djibouti Veterinary Cooperative Technical Training Course (or La cooperation Veterinaire Djibouto-Chinoise Appuyer l'Elevage en Offrant les Traitements et les Medicaments Et la Formation Technique or 中吉兽医合作送医送药护牧行动暨技术培训班). The value of this project is unknown. In addition to technical assistance, China also donated unspecified materials and equipment. The purpose of this project was to teach Djibouti farmers more about animal husbandry and agriculture. The training course took place between 18 and 19 May 2016. More than 40 veterinary industry leaders from five regions in Djibouti attended.
