On November 23, 2015, the Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan granted $5 million USD worth of food aid to the World Food Program (WFP) in Juba, South Sudan on behalf of the Chinese government (UNOCHA: Financial Tracking Service Flow ID: 135972). On November 30, 2015, the food was handed over to the South Sudanese government. The food donated included 2,250 tons of grain, cooking oil, salt, beans, and more.
