Chinese Government provides grant for Phase 2 of Rumbek Kiir Mayardit Women's Hospital Construction Project (Linked to Project ID#53336, #47301, and #92076)

On October 21, 2015, Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan Ma Qiang signed an agreement for the second phase construction on the Rumbek Kiir Mayardit Women's Hospital with South Sudanese Foreign Minister Benjamin. The project involved the construction of a dormitory for medical personnel at the Rumbek Kiir Mayardit Women's Hospital, which is located in the town of Rumbek in Lakes State. Construction of the dormitory began in December 2017. Then, on July 5, 2019, Chinese and South Sudanese officials signed a certificate officially handing over the newly renovated hospital.
