Project narrative

On December 7, 2017, the Government of Maldives and the Government of China signed an exchange of letters for the Feasibility Study on the China-Aid Municipal Solid Waste Treatment and Recycling Project Between China and the Maldives, in a signing ceremony at the Great Hall of People in Beijing, witnessed by President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and President Xi Jinping, according to the President's Office.
