Project narrative

On July 23, 2015, Chinese Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi pledged to provide emergency humanitarian relief to Tajikistan during the meeting with his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Aslov. Constant high temperature since July caused glaciers to melt, leading to severe landslides in Tajikistan and causing serious casualties. On August 5, the Department of Foreign Assistance of MOFCOM delivered Tajikistan RMB10 million relief.
