Description

On March 23, 2016, China agreed to provide Chinese language training for 200 Nepalese tourism professionals within 5 years. The project aimed at boosting Nepal's tourism industry because based on data in 2017, China was the largest tourism source market for Nepal. The Chinese Language Training Course for Nepali Tourism Professionals was organized by the Chinese Embassy and Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal. The project started in July, 2017, and as of November, 2018, the third course had been held. The project is in progress.
