In 2015, China and India agree to institutionalize annual Sino-India Media Summit. The summit is designed to enhance communication and mutual understanding. It will be responsible by China State Council Information Office and India Ministry of Foreign Affair. The summit will be held annually and in each country in turn. The first summit was established and agreed on in 2013 when the previous China-India Joint Statement was established.
