Description
On May 15th, 2015, the Chinese Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Indian Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship signed a memorandum of understanding to build the Mahatma Gandhi National Institute for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MGNISDE) in Gujarat near Ahmedabad, India. 20 acres of land has been approved near Shilaj, Ghatlodia, village, district Ahmedabad. MGNISDE will be developed as the first national level institute for skill development and entrepreneurship to take advantage of collaboration through partnerships with national, international level institutes, industry, and academia in India and China. The cost of the project was estimated to be 199.71 billion Indian rupee, but it is unclear if and how much China is contributing. The flow type and flow class are unclear. China and India signed a cooperation action plan to establish Mahatma Gandhi National Skills-Development and Business Start-up Plan College (圣雄甘地国家技能开发和创业学院) in Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The project was established to enhance Sino-India cooperation in professional training and skill development.
