Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In 2015, it was reported that China was to give US$1.63 million per year to the SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) per year through 2018. China, currently an observer in SAARC, has been attempting to become a full member of SAARC since 2006. While there is no indication SAARC accepted the funds, China is also believed to have set aside $550k for a "SAARC development fund" should that status ever change.
