Project narrative

In 2007, the China Development Bank issued a loan worth $30 million to Argentinian Bank BICE (Banco de Inversión y Comercio Exterior) for on-lending to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and exporting firms. These funds were part of an agreement between the CDB and Argentina to provide $140 million in three tranches. The loan has a 10-year maturity.
