China offers government Scholarship and Scholarship on Human Resources Training Post-Graduate programme to 9 Bahamanians for the 2011-2012 academic year

On August 10 2011, an awarding ceremony for 9 recipients of the 2011/2012 Chinese government Scholarship and Scholarship on Human Resources Training Post-Graduate programme for foreign countries was held in the Foreign Ministry of the Bahamas.The scholarship is part of an ongoing collaboration between the Chinese government and the Bahamian government to encourage Bahamian students to study in China. The Government of the Bahamas helped implement this scholarship. On April 30, 2014, the People's Republic of China in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas held a reception ceremony for the recipients of the trainees, marking their completion of the three year training.
