Project narrative

On July 22nd, 2014, China agreed to donate office and transportation equipment to Cuba—part of a series of agreements signed during Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to the island nation. The agreement, entitled in Spanish, "Canje de Notas entre el Gobierno de la República de Cuba y el Gobierno de la República Popular China," was signed by Gao Hucheng, Chinese Minister of the Ministry of Commerce and Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, Cuban Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment. The status and the specific destination of the donation is unknown.
