Description

In June 2015, 85 Bahamians were selected to be in the first China-Bahamas Bilateral Training Programme. A ceremony was held for the students on June 19, 2015. Students will study in tourism, green low carbon economy, food technology and garment manufacturing. This program is part of a larger Chinese commitment to provide "6000 full government scholarships, 6000 short-term training opportunities and 400 one-year master’s degree scholarships to Latin America and Caribbean countries during 2015–2019."
