Project narrative

On May 9, 2018, the Chinese government held the first Overseas Training Courses on Agricultural Production and Processing Technology in Bogotá. The project was co-organized by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the Foreign Economic Cooperation Center (FECC) of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. For the project, 11 Chinese experts worked for 60 days in two of Colombia's areas most affected by conflict, providing training for over 200 Colombian people. This project includes training for tropical crop cultivation, agricultural machinery, and agricultural Internet applications.
