Project narrative

On August 7th, 2015, the Chinese Ambassador to Barbados, Wang Ke, made a $50,000 donation to the Barbados Museum and Historical Society in honor of Barbados's 50th anniversary of independence. Museum officials indicated the money would help future generations learn about Barbadian history and Ambassador Wang Ke indicated the money would help the museum produce exhibitions that introduce the Barbadian public to Chinese history.
