Project narrative

On July 14, 2003, the Chinese government granted a satellite dish and receiver to the Department of Information Services for the National Television Network. The dish would allow the St. Lucian people to access Chinese channels. This project was aimed at promoting cultural exchange between China and St. Lucia, falling under "representational" intent. The value of the dish is unknown.
