Project narrative

On December 7, 2017, the Chinese government signed and sent a non-refundable grant worth RMB 100 million to the Panamanian Government for human resources development and scholarships for Panamanian citizens. The agreement follows an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement between Panama and China signed in Beijing on November 17, 2017. Specific project details and allocations are to be decided after the disbursement of funds.
