According to a report from the Chinese embassy in Uruguay, on February 13, 2019, the Chinese Embassy donated cultural and martial arts goods to Uruguay's Foshan Yip Man Wing Chun Association. The cultural goods included Taiji swords, fans and outfits. The donation aimed at promoting Chinese culture.
