Description

From March to May 2016, the Chinese Company, China Sports International Co.,Ltd received the Uruguay table tennis and gymnastics team, a total of 19 athletes and coaches, training in China for 90 days in order to help Uruguay improve its sports level. In June 2016, two Chinese trainers traveled to Uruguay to continue the training for an additional three months. This project is considered to be the Phase I of Technical Cooperation of Sports Project between China and Uruguay. Phase II is recorded in project ID #54981. Both projects follow the "Sports Cooperation Agreement between the State Sports General Administration of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay" signed in March 2009.
