Project narrative

On December 29, 2017, Zhejiang Province sent its 16th Chinese medical team to Central African Republic. The team was there until July 10, 2019. During their time there, the team treated nearly 20,000 patients, rescued nearly 100 critically ill patients, and performed over 360 surgeries of various types. They carried out numerous large scale clinic activities where they provided free detailed diagnosis and treatment services in internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, acupuncture and physiotherapy.
