Project narrative

On September 16, 2017, China's Beijing Enterprises Group Company Ltd. gave Cuba a $1 million USD cash donation to help with the damage done by Hurricane Irma. This donation occurred in one of five agreements signed by Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca, and Chinese Ambassador to Cuba, Chen Xi, on the day. On October 25, 2017 Rodrigo Malmierca, Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, and Chen Xi, the Chinese ambassador to Cuba, signed the documents for the donation.
