Description

In 2018, the People's Republic of China has pledged an estimated US$15 million to support the construction of new climate-smart schools in Dominica. The schools targeted are as follows: Tete Morne Primary, Bellevue Chopin, Soufriere, Castle Bruce primary, Thibaud, Calibishiem Goodwill Secondary Schools. Those schools were either completely destroyed or significantly damaged by Hurricane Maria in September 2017. This project was potentially funded through either the funds granted in November 2017 (see project #72673) or in October 2018 (see project #55922).

Additional details

It is unclear how this project fits in with #55922 or #71512 but it does not appear to be a duplicate of either one.
