Project narrative

On April 15, 2015, the Chinese government officially donated $1 million USD to Lesotho through the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) to buy food. According to the Ambassador's remarks at the handover ceremony, WFP will use these funds to buy food for Basotho beneficiaries under the nutrition and disaster risk reductions programs. When this food was actually delivered is unknown.
