Project narrative

On April 20, 2016, the Chinese Government donated $1 million USD in cash to the Government of Suriname to help fight the Zika epidemic, which began in Suriname at the end of 2015. The purpose of this grant was to purchase medical supplies for health facilities as well as support patients' hospital and medication bills.
