Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On November 9, 2011, the Chinese Embassy in Lesotho donated M150,000 LSL to the Office of the First Lady of Lesotho in order to help orphans and vulnerable children in Lesotho. Mathato Mosisili was the First Lady of Lesotho by virtue of being the wife of Prime Minister of Lesotho Pakalitha Mosisili. The funds were set to be used to buy sanitary towels for school girls in need, as well for the acquisition of sewing machines and construction of shacks to allow young people to begin small businesses.
