On 20 April 2017, the Chinese Embassy in Lesotho held a send-off ceremony for the first batch of 100 Masotho trainees to participate the 2017 China-aid Human Resource Development Cooperation Program (2017中国援助人力资源开发合作计划研讨会). Trainees were trained in China for an unknown time period. The value of this project is unknown. The 2018 batch is captured in Record ID#69131.
