Project narrative

On June 29, 2006, a letter of exchange was signed by Chinese Ambassador Chen Jinghua and Minister of Finance Humphrey Hilton Bach for the Chinese government’s donation of police materials to Suriname Customs. On May 17, 2007, a supply contract was signed. On August 20, 2007, the police materials were handed over to the Suriname customs agency. The materials are intended to assist the Suriname customs agency in preventing illegal smuggling.
