Project narrative

According to the Chinese Embassy in Suriname, on January 24, 2014, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office donated 20,000 USD to the Suriname Chinese School. The donation was transferred through Chinese ambassador Yang Zigang. The goal of the donation was to improve school performance and promote Chinese culture. The intent is coded as mixed, as the funds will promote Chinese culture (representational) and assist the school with education (development).
