Project narrative

China and Mauritius agreed to an annual program where individuals from Mauritius go to China to receive training in 6 offered courses. In 2016, 475 individuals participated in the program, mostly focused on human resources development. China Ministry of Commerce was the organizing agency, and the Economic & Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Mauritius celebrated the the individuals upon successful completion of the program. 10 Mauritians also applied for a Chinese government scholarship.
