Project narrative

In 2016, 13 Dominican students have been granted opportunity to pursue higher education in China. Eleven of the students were chosen by the Chinese Scholarship Council and two were accepted through the China’s Ministry of Commerce MOFCOM Programme. The scholarship award ceremony was held on August 4.

According to an article from a Dominican new source, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce started its own higher education scholarship program, the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) scholarship. Unsure if this should be captured in a separate project.
