Project narrative

On June 10, 2015, a team of 7 technicians from Shaanxi Huashan International Engineering Company arrived in Cabo Verde to start a two-year technical cooperation project for the National Stadium. On June 17, 2015, Counselor Song Bo from the Chinese embassy in Praia met with the Director General of the National Stadium Administration and related technical personnel to introduce the work plan. The value of this project is unknown. China financed and built phase I (#21687) and phase II (#56498). China also built a connection road for the Stadium in 2014 (#56521). An additional technical cooperation project began in 2017 (#72794).
