On September 9, 2006, China and the Central African Republic (CAR) signed letters of exchange for the Chinese donation of 52 million CFA Francs worth of anti-malaria drugs to the CAR. It is unclear when the anti-malaria drugs were physically handed over to the Central African Republic.
