Project narrative

On July 7, 2010, Ambassador Li Chengwen signed and submitted to the Sudan side for the exchange of documents for the 30 well projects in Darfur, Sudan (援苏丹达尔富尔地区30口水井项目). On July 13, 2010, Tejani Saleh, Minister of International Cooperation of Sudan, signed a replies to confirm the communication. On October 11, 2010 Sudanese Humanitarian Aid Commissioner signed a contract with Tianjin Huabei Nonferrous Construction Engineering Company to dig the wells. The value of the wells is unknown. In 2008, the Chinese government also drilled 10 water wells for the Darfur region of Sudan. By the end of November in 2008, the construction of these 10 wells were completed (captured in #47218).
