Project narrative

According to the Omdurman Friendship Center for Vocational Training website, on February 2, 2011, the Chinese government signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement with Sudan agreeing to grant renovate the Omdurman Friendship Center for Vocational Training and provide training to its personnel (援苏丹恩图曼职业培训中心培训项目). This project captures the training of Sudanese teachers at the Omdurman Vocational Center by Chinese experts. Construction of the center was completed in May 2015, and between January 2015 and December 2018 personnel at the Center received training from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and Hunan Vocational College of Foreign Trade. This project is intended to improve the level of vocational and technical training in Sudan.
