Description

In 2006, the governments of China and Tunisia signed an exchange of letters to arrange a training and assistance program for Tunisian technicians to learn about natural gas air-conditioning technology from China, as well as provide the technology to Tunisia. On October 21, 2007, the National Agency for Energy Management (ANME), an organization under the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines of Tunisia, sent a team of 7 Tunisian technicians to Beijing, China for a 10-day gas air-conditioning technology inspection and training program. China also provided a set of natural gas teaching equipment and sent two sets of experts to Tunisia to provide technical assistance in the use of the natural gas air-conditioning equipment. The project was successfully completed on December 23, 2008. Economic and Commercial Counselor Liu Baowei and Director Ayadi Ben Issa of the Tunisian National Energy Agency signed the handover certificate for the gas air-conditioning aid materials on June 4, 2009.
