Project narrative

On November 5, 2017, Chinese Ambassador to Sudan Li Lianhe attended a ceremony to hand over a set of flood relief materials to 1,000 families affected by recent floods (向苏丹捐赠赈灾物资项目). The materials were donated jointly by the Chinese Embassy in Sudan and the Sanad Foundation and included tarpaulins, blankets and mosquito nets. According to an article reported by the Xinhua net, his project is part of an annual donation from the Chinese Embassy to people in Sudan affected by floods, rains, and other natural disasters. A total of about 150 people attended the meeting, including Samia, Secretary General of Sanad Charitable Foundation, Director of the Humanitarian Aid Department of the Humanitarian Aid, Sinor, and Director of the Division of the Project.
